
Nick’s practice focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, tax planning, and wealth transfer. He has experience in the preparation of wills and trusts, post mortem planning and administration, lifetime gifting and other tax planning strategies, charitable planning, and matters concerning family business operations. Nick is certified as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He is also AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been recognized as a “Rising Star” on the Northern California Super Lawyers® list.
Nick earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Santa Clara University and graduated from the University of Arkansas, School of Law, magna cum laude. While in law school, Nick was a Pearson Fellow and a member of the Arkansas Law Review. Nick completed his studies at Northwestern University, School of Law where he earned his LL.M. degree in taxation, with honors.
Nick is a member of the California State Bar, the Monterey County Bar Association, Rotary Club of Carmel-by-the-Sea, and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. He has also volunteered for various charitable organizations and currently serves on the Planned Giving Committee for California State University, Monterey Bay.
