Dave’s practice focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and wealth transfer. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, and the Monterey County Bar Association. 

Dave earned his B.A. degree in economics from Middlebury College.  He earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of San Francisco Law Review, earned five CALI Awards, and was a member of the McAuliffe Honor Society. 

Before joining JF&A, Dave practiced at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, earning pro bono awards from 2006-2008.
